Voices for Independence is currently seeking a full-time RN to provide services within our service area. These services will include:
- Provides the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the Consumer needs
- Administers care in accordance with approved plan of care
- Acts as a resource for Consumers and family/significant others to meet nursing and related health needs
- Trains Direct Care Workers on-site in the consumer’s home
- Completes all assessments for Health Maintenance Activities
- Remains available for duty nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed/assigned
- Participates in professional organizations and continuing education to improve practice knowledge and skills
- Ability to travel throughout VFI’s service area
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Nurse with a current valid Pennsylvania license
- Minimum of two (2) years of current experience as a licensed nurse
- Skilled in critical thinking, communication, negotiation, and collaboration
- Reliable, independent means of transportation to make home visits. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and drive a vehicle with insurance limits as established by the state

- The person selected for this position must establish and maintain an effective liaison with individuals both within and outside VFI. This person must have an empathetic understanding of client population and able to relate to them in a positive and supportive fashion.

Pay: From $47,000.00 per year
